I just switched back to AT&T's DSL service after a parting of the ways for awhile.

I have to say I missed this speed tremendously.

Like night and day compared to the cable carrier here.

It screams.

Yep, they're aggravating (like double billing me for two months) but they're fast!

Where I reside, in New York State, DSL offers a small fraction of the bandwidth that one can get with a cable modem connection !

My cable connection wouldn't even approach that.....but I don't put much stock in "speed tests" anyway.

I know that this connection runs circles around my cable connection I had.
