Mark Knopfler (Dire Straight's composer & guitarist) & Emmylou Harris have turned out an album called, "All The Roadrunning" which is really amazing. For fan's of Knopfler's playing, it is NOT his typical playing, but wonderful, nontheless! Not really country, not really r'nr, but wonderful vocals, guitar playing and writing (all except 2, I think, written by Knopfler). Just wanted y'all to know. . .

Yup - been enjoying that one for a while now.

Another relatively new one that's wonderful is former Kinks frontman Ray Davies' "Other People's Lives" - check out the reviews etc. at Amazon.
