The history of Apple and Woz is on History channel
« on: October 11, 2006, 08:20:07 PM »
I just happened onto the History channel Modern Marvels, I dont know what ever comes on, just happenchance.
But right now, its the history of Apple, Woz is giving a great talk!
I dont know how to alert you of this, but I sure will watch it.
There must be an archive list?????
Hope so, as there are some really nice facts and a really fun program!
Jane

Rushing back to the living room to watch it, they have so many commercials, that it gives you time to run into computer room.

Wow, that was a quick segment, its onto VHS vs Betamax and game machines now, and onward into newre and newer technology, but the Apple part was really nice, very well presented.
Great program however, sorry for the big alert for just 15 minutes of Apple stuff, I should like to see if I can get this off the archives and record it.
More good stuff, history of portable music, Sony, cell phones, indeed a great show, as most of their Modern Marvels are.

The Modern marvels series is available on the iTunes Store.  That episode should be there by tonight or tomorrow.  Sure, it's cheaper to watch it on TV, but, I had to watch Lost last night while it was on and I need to buy a new VCR.  The DVR  option from Charter is another $15.00/month which added to the $115.00 I am already paying them just seems to be too much.  In any case, I will probably buy that episode since it does look interesting.

I didnt know that you could buy Modern Marvels on the iTunes store, thats neat!
But like you say, cheaper to watch on the TV.

I love that Modern Marvels show, tis my favourite now.  I dont watch much TV, so what I do watch, I want it to be quality stuff.  And the History Channel is great.

Ive bookmarked the site, so that I can quickly glimpse whats going to be on each day.
Thank you,
Jane
