According to this BBC article we are going to turn over 300 Million American's this morning:

According to a "letter to the editor" I read, it happened quite awhile ago. Seems the census bureau counts people legally in the States but does not count citizens in Puerto Rico! So, add about 4,000,000 (I think) and you've got the real total.
