Strange thing lately using PS 7- I am working on an image and suddenly random vertical lines will appear across the image. Any ideas what might be causing this behavior?

Did you run the Photoshop 7.0.1 update? Update

Ohterwise...

You could have some corrupt RAM or some other problem on the drive. Try reinstalling Photoshop just to be sure the problem is not within the application itself. Be sure to run the update before you actually run Photoshop.

Ran the 7.0.1 update at the start.  A simple reboot seems to have cured the problem, at least for now.  The lines would disappear when reopening the images, but reappeared shortly after manipulation.  Haven't had it happen again since rebooting.  Strange.
