Why is it that those IPB images are visible in edit mode but not in normal viewing mode?  Just curious!

Later: Once I saved my reply they were visible in normal viewing mode; Trick or Treat!

i have no idea what the "IPB image" is.
it works fine on my MacBook in Safari and Camino

yes i added links under them for those with 'incompatible' machines

It didn't work for me until I went to add a reply and I saw the images in that format; after I added my comment they started working.  This is under Firefox on a PC and a MAC!
