Just got the aame machine with the "2-recorder" option..... now we can watch one and record another (on the off chance there are two shows on at the same time that are worthy).....
You do have to get the 'service' but you can try it out and if it ain't what you thought.... bye, bye...
WE wouldn't be without it, now that we've had it for a while..... there are other devices like it and some cable services provide simular options... but TiVo seems to put the best of all them together..... do also need a phone connection available as it 'calls home' dailly to update the schedules for all the channels your service provides...
