Thanks, Roy.

I was gonna look up the time of tonight's game. You made it so easy!

We heard that it will be on, but forgot which channel, and the TV Cue (as it's called) doesn't identify the teams for any of the several games being shown.

Any of them will be more entertaining than, oh, say a speech or something. wink.gif

Alright Illini ! They hung on this time. thumbup.gif

Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

Back in the day (1976?), Big Red Nebraska played Wisconsin in (OT) football.
My wife was a University of Nebraska alumnus and very outspoken on the superiority of Nebraska football.
Just for fun, I bet her a buck that Wisconsin would beat the pants off Nebraska. Devilish2.gif
After the game, she threw a pillow at me and never did pay off.

She's been gone for 20 years and though I'm not a big football or basketball watcher, I remember that day whenever Wisconsin plays.

Roy, Illinois had lost 6 of 7 games in which they held a lead in the second half. It was good to see them turn it up a notch at the end.

Gary, I'm still waiting for the good memories of my Mom to come flooding back. Unfortunately, sports won't do it. She didn't like my favorite game at all. She's only been gone 5 months. I haven't gotten through the final stages yet I guess. In time, perhaps.

Not a very strong win against Northwestern last night. Both sides were quite cold on shots for a bit...thus the low 59 to 50 score. Northwestern did have a "HOT" spurt on 3s for a bit. biggrin.gif

Cold shooting is the thing in the Big Ten this week. (See Illinois vs. Indiana)

I wonder if the weather has anything to do with it? snowglobe.gif

OSU got away with one, literally. In the last seconds, the foul on the MSU player for jumping on the OSU guy who dove for the ball was called after another MSU player was mugged by three OSU players on the rebound. It should have put MSU on the line instead of OSU, and possibly the result would have been different. Luck, and the referees, smiled on the Bucks.
