What happened to the program Tech-TV?

I was looking for it today, now that I got cable, and can't find it.  Did they take it off the air.  

I found a program called G4 and bot does it suck!  It's nothing like
Tech-TV.  

If anyone knows what channel Tech-TV is on with Leo, please let me know.

Comcast, which didn't ever "get it", killed it by merging it with a video Game Channel:

That's really sad to hear.  Leo and his side-kick were two of the nerdiest, koolest, geeks that I could rely on.    

Well I suppose I'll cancel my cable now.  I've notice that most of the stuff seems to be what I call "GARBAGE TV".

Hi there,

Leo is now doing a program called "Call for Help" on my cable service, on a channel called "G4 TV.  It's currently taped in Toronto but is moving to Vancouver soon, if not already. You can find out all about it here:Call for Help.  It is also seen in Australia.  Leo regularly asks viewers to contact "the powers that be" to have it broadcast in th U.S.  Hope this is helpful.

Most of the former tech TV hosts are very active podcasters.

Kevin Rose does Diggnation  with Alex Albrecht.

Patrick Norton can be found at DL.TV

Leo does mostly audio while kevin and Patrick do video podcasts.

If you liked the Screensavers, these podcasts provide much more and they are free.  Just subscribe to them in iTunes.  I find that I spend much more time watching/listening to Podcasts than I do broadcast TV.

Incidentally, Call for help can be seen on the web as well... I think it is available on Google Video. However, there is a free way to see it as well.  I am not going to post the URL to the torrent site, but I can say that Leo is aware of the site and quietly encourages U.S. viewers to use it.  The show is owned by Rodgers Communications in Canada and they apparently know of the torrent site.  While they have not publicly supported the site, they don't seem to mind either.... if you want more info email me privately.
