My "switcher" friend is having some difficulty. (not with mail ) which may require me to revert to the external hd backup drive. I intend to just erase the computer hd and "superduper" the external back-up hd to the computers now erased hd. The last time a back-up was done was only about a week or so ago, however the like to keep a bunch of emails. What I would like to do is move the messages from the "in" and "sent" mailboxes to a folder/location and store them for reinstallation after "re-installing" from the external hd.
Is this possible?? I use Entourage and you can move messages to the desktop, then re-insert them into the appropriate place. I cannot seem to figure out how to do it in mail??
