Kudos to Toast Titanium v8.0.1
I recently purchased a Pioneer DVR-112D to replace the internal 2x that came with my G4 QS 2002.
I also purchased Toast Titanium v8.01. Quite an improvement over prevous versions!
Works well with CD, DVD and DVD DL.
It actually shows current burn speed and average burn speed in real time.
I also used Toast 8 to burn a DVD on my PowerBook G4. Also went very well, altho not as fast as the DVR-112D on the QS.
