I wrote back and asked for a translation and instead of plain text, she sent the same thing again.
I looked in character editor and I'm just totally missing things ... because I can't figure out what these measurements are really supposed to be. I think maybe I should scratch these on my measuring spoons and cups.

think - that the first one translates to 1/2 ... but I'm not sure.
If anyone knows what these symbols are, I'd appreciate a translation.
If you know how to figure these out - for future reference - I'd appreciate that info as well.
