Translating fraction symbols

A pal sent me some recipes. She pasted them from word to outlook and this is what I see ...

CODE
∏ TEASPOON BAKING SODA

π TEASPOON SALT

1 ∏ CUPS WHITE SUGAR

≤ CUP POWDERED SUGAR


I wrote back and asked for a translation and instead of plain text, she sent the same thing again.  rolleyes.gif

I looked in character editor and I'm just totally missing things ... because I can't figure out what these measurements are really supposed to be. I think maybe I should scratch these on my measuring spoons and cups.  Devilish2.gif

I think - think - that the first one translates to 1/2 ... but I'm not sure.

If anyone knows what these symbols are, I'd appreciate a translation.

If you know how to figure these out - for future reference - I'd appreciate that info as well.

Edited to add ... I figured out the fractions. For reference ...

CODE
∏ = 1/2

π = 1/4

≤ = 3/4

You could ask her what font she's using but that might just confuse her more! tease.gif

Just have her send me some of the cookies and I'll check them for flavor, texture and strength during shipping. smile.gif

But then I'd never try any new recipes. Most of my recipe sharing pals are untaught win users and they are doing good to get on the net. wink.gif I know better than to ask "what font", cuz then she'd ask me how to figure all that out. laugh.gif
