Get the "facts"
« on: December 06, 2007, 03:51:48 PM »
I find a particular phone number often appearing on my caller ID. So I decided to put it up for Googling, which then led down an very interesting path to this page/site . . .

This particular one is for CAL-PAL, but it appears it would be interesting to be able to check others appeal for funds, especially this time iof the year.

Needless to say, I'm not falling for this . . . thanks to Charity Navigator

I will be asking the next time someone calls why "administrative" expenses are soooo high.    mad.gif

Thanks for the reminder about this site, Dick. Especially at this time of year when people tend to give to charities instead of gifts it helps to see which are using the money most efficiently.

A good reminder.

If they call you, or send you unsolicted e-mail, be wary!
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.
