I was about to buy this camera.  Probably still will but want to make sure I get one without the light leak issue.

Here is a informative video clip on the A650 for anyone else considering it.  One thing I didn't like to hear is it take 3 seconds to process each picture since it is a 12 megapixel.  Don't know if that would bother me or not but something to think about.

It's been fixed - just make sure that you get one with a different serial number series! smile.gif Hard to check if buying online, but given that the issue is now 2 months old, I'd imagine that if you stick with reputable dealers like B&H, you'll find that all their stock has been fixed or replaced.

BTW - I have an A640 and love it. Took it to Europe as my principal camera this summer since I didn't feel like lugging all my DSLR equipment and it performed very well.
