Can you Spot a Phish?
« on: January 23, 2008, 10:33:40 AM »
I'm sure all TSers can spot a phishing email. But here is a good link to a page you might want to send your less Internet savvy friends and family.

You don't need to register or enter any info at all, BTW.
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
CAUTION! Childhood vaccinations cause adults!

Not yet. At least my wife now knows what "phish" means. She got the next four correct, anyway. I also sent to many of my friends, all but one of which uses Windows. So far the reports are 4 out of five from the PC crowd, 100% from the Mac user. Seems strange since Windows users have been almost beaten over the head with security warnings. rolleyes.gif

Of course, Mac's are not a big enough market to bother the scammers yet... rolleyes.gif
