Problem seeing insertion point at times with Safari
« on: March 17, 2008, 09:19:11 PM »
Hi,
I am using system 10.5.2 and Safari 3.0.4.  Quite often the arrow-insertion point disappears so it is hard to see.  When it overlaps a field or item I can identify it even though I can't see the arrow.  Any suggestions what I can do?  This is so frustrating I am considering giving up Safari until a new version comes out.

You can make the cursor bigger. smile.gif

Go to Preferences->Universal Access and click on the Mouse tab. At the bottom there is a Cursor Size slider, oddly labeled "For difficulties seeing the mouse"  - anyway, that should fix it. It makes the cursor bigger too. It's a bit pixelated if you get it really big, but at least it's visible!
