fax softwre for X??

There are a few fax programs out for X out- FAXstf, PageSender and eFax.  What program do you use and what one do you find to be the most reliable?  Are there any others I missed?

i could use answer for this too. Of course it would be nice if GV upgraded the disc i paid (i think) $80 for not too long ago.
I expect to see some choices in this pace when i get back from my two- (or maybe three-) week vacation in sunny paree.

Most folks who have tried FAXstf for OS X have found it to be...um...disappointing.

For sending faxes from your computer under OS X, check out:

Page Sender ($30)

Cocoa eFax ($10)

Fax Elite.  ($75)

CoMa X

(Scroll down to english link in left column)

4-Sight Fax  (For Networks Only)

Hyla Fax

More than likely there will *never* be an OS X update of GlobalFax.  Global Village has changed hands, and all of the programmers for GlobalFax no longer work for the company.

Thanks a lot Randy. Very helpful.

We don't have much use these days for faxing from our Macs, but it's a nice feature to have on the "back shelf" of one's hard drive.

I've wondered what might ever try to replace GV's ease and effectiveness over so many years. So sad when it was swallowed by that Florida gator.

Based on my own disasters with it, I always thought that FAXstf was a loser and wondered why Apple sorta recommended them some years ago
