Seriously, I amazed that this technique hasn't been used before. Pots are really not that expensive and can usually be made by the person who wants the 'frig.' Anything that allows food stuff to be used a little longer is terrific, IMHO. I still remember a somewhat wacky Navigator stationed with me in the P.I. He was planning on 'bailing out' of the USAF and building ice plants along the East coast of Luzon. He figured he could make a killing by creating a way for the local fishermen to get their catch to wider markets. Not sure what ever happened to him...
