Ray Bradbury celebrated his 88 birthday on August 22nd and I am ashamed to say that I believed he had gone onto stranger worlds!  There is an absolutely great speech by him on YouTube (linked through the LA Times):

I also didn't know that he wrote the screenplay for the 1956 version of Moby Dick with Gregory Peck. WOW!!!

Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.
