A few months ago I posted regarding an iTunes library that had disappeared. Although I had several suggestions and folks who tried to help, said library never did materialize.
I had a not quite current copy of my entire iMac backed up onto a USB drive. I plucked the iTunes music from it and placed it back into the iTunes app currently on my iMac. In the meantime, I still had music on the iPod that came from old missing library. Although most of the songs are the same, there are a few on the iPod that I'd like to add to the iTunes library that was restored from a backup.
In a sense I guess I'd like to merge the iPod music with the iMac's music without syncing the iPod because some stuff would be lost from the iPod. If I could pluck a few songs from the iPod and place them back into the iMac library somehow, then I'd just sync the thing and be done with it. No luck dragging and dropping from iPod to iTunes.
Did I make this confusing enough?

You need the free program Senuti, which you can download from versiontracker.com.
