keychain drives me crazy
« on: May 13, 2003, 03:35:57 PM »
Please can someone help me.
My problem is that everytime i start I-chat, keychain asks me my password.
The same happends with starting safari and mail.     wallbash.gif
Is there a way (witch i can't find) to tell keychain to allow me always access to those programs.
I tried in keychain to allow me always access and it didn't work.
Perhaps delete keychain?      devilishgrin.gif
Any help is welcome.      notworthy.gif

I don't know if you need Keychain for some reason, I pitched the whole works right away in OS9.1 and use PasswordMaster instead. You can find it in the software section.

I store all my passwords and serial/registration info in it... couldn't do w/o it! But it doesn't make certain programs prompt for a password... I can put a password on the program itself to protect my password and serial info. and I never used Keychain at all.

Thanks Bob.

Key-chain first aid found some problems and repaired them.
Now it's working is it should.
I didn't know there was a program like that and never heard of any problems with key-chain.
Again thanks.
William.
