It may have slowed down but it hasn't died. Jane went to the grocery store Saturday, because Sunday was booked and she found a store full of tourist. They're here, maybe not in the normal waves that usually flood Florida but none the less you may be paying the same prices and searching in vain. The keys are always costly, as is the hot spots like South beach,West Palm the Space Coast and MouseVille. Daytona is full during race week and bike week the last of Feb. and the first of March, so these places should be avoided if you don't want to compete with party pockets.

We like the quiet out-of-the-way places. So looks like I will have to do a bit of research to find them nowadays.  No, you couldnt give us free a visit to Mouseville.  I remember when it wasn't even there.
We used to go to the keys on our boat, and it was quite remote back then, and amazingly beautiful.
So I guess we better start looking for a place where the tourists arent.  We dont mind the regular older folk who are there to excape the weather, its the party scene and that type of stuff we want to avoid.
