I'm not sure who has the best job security...
« on: January 19, 2009, 04:37:42 PM »
A company has recently crawled out from under a rock somewhere and discovered that a dozen PC makers and a bunch of software developers have been abusing/using a patent awarded in 1992. That's right, 16 years ago! Wonder how they survived under a rock for that long?! eek2.gif <Information Protection and Authentication of Texas, the owner of the patents, and Florida-based Global Innovation Technology Holdings their exclusive licensee, jointly filed the 12-page formal complaint in a south Florida district court.>

In other legal news, descendants of Joseph Priestly have seeking an injunction against all unlicensed users of oxygen... rolleyes.gif

Speaking as a technician I'm not exactly feeling "real" secure; of course I work for a school district!
