A company has recently crawled out from under a rock somewhere and discovered that a dozen PC makers and a bunch of software developers have been abusing/using a patent awarded in 1992. That's right,

years ago! Wonder how they survived under a rock for that long?!

Speaking as a technician I'm not exactly feeling "real" secure; of course I work for a school district!
