A new "boot" method?
« on: January 20, 2009, 05:36:19 PM »
...Then there was Dual Boot (which I've never used). There has been a Work Boot for a long time (although it's been a long time since I last used one!). Now comes a "boot" by the makers of the dongle that allows an Intel PC to run OS X. There was a thread here, last year, about the dongle and the company offering PCs with the dongle included plus OS x pre-installed. It now seems that the dongle maker thinks that was a breach of contract and actually unethical. They claim the dongle is meant to be sold only to individuals who want to tinker/hack a PC for fun. But not for profit!
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
