Sorry for the lack of warning, but took a while to get everyone to chime in on this. As most of you have noticed, the board has gone down a lot in the past week and ASO has offered to move our site to another less populated server. The loads on our server from some other sites had gotten crazy at times, leading to Apache falling over with a monotonous regularity.

While the board is shut off, you will be able to get to the site itself - but since the site will be visible on two servers during the changeover, ASO recommends turning off anything that uses a database (like the forum) which could get muddled.

Neil will turn it back on at or about 4:30 a.m. EST Tuesday.

Well, here's hoping we will continue not to notice a thing, other than that we can always get to the forum! Our old server was ridiculously overloaded at times during the past week; it was time to get out of Dodge! smile.gif

Seems much spiffier now!

There were times when I thought I was contributing to the problem, because sometimes when I clicked on a Forum, or redirected my path, thingies would go into oblivion for a period of time.
