And of course, I can't inform you of this by any other means than posting here! I'd suggest that if your inbox is showing as empty when you check via webmail, something has gone a little screwy with Optimum's servers. A call to tech support might be in order.

BTW - when you emptied your inbox, did you then empty the trash/deleted items folder? It's often a two step process. If you didn't empty the deleted items folder (this is on within the web mail - not on your Mac) then you could still be over your storage quota. Same with a spam folder if you have one of those.

Thank you. Yes, the trash was emptied.  Some people are still getting messages bounced, but those were sent a couple of days ago.  So far, I seem to be getting all my emails, or at least a LOT of emails.  I will keep my eye on it.
