Somewhat 'old' (anything over two days?
) news from several rumor sites. Seems the longer a story circulates the more 'credibility' it gains.
There certainly will be new iMacs, sooner than later. Some have hinted that the tightening of current supply is being caused by less than needed graphics card supplies. So, there are all kinds of reasons we 'outsiders' may never know that cause supply changes. I just hope the new models will be more improved than the 2008 versions. With the increasing numbers of laptop sales, I fear that the desktop models may be getting short shrift. OTOH, many of the iMac's internals are simply laptop hardware pieces. It would really be great to create slightly better user up-grade capabilities in the iMac. I wonder how many BTO shipments there are compared to the base models...

Thats interesting, lots of new stuff coming. First the new iLife, then the new OS, then these new iMacs in this article.
I will wait and see how long my G5 lasts,,,,,,,,,
Then I will have to pounce.
