Might I suggest an overall color scheme reminiscent of the relaxing "BSOD?" rofl.gif Or maybe door knobs asking one to press "Shift-Alt-Delete" to continue. Of course, the exits should be plainly marked so the person could press the "Start" button...

Found this comment just now: "It will be great fun!
Every month when a new windows virus come out, you will be able to go to a Microsoft store and all the computers will be dead or locked down so you can not surf the internet.
Too dangerous, we can't let you do that.
Boy, that will sell computers!"

And even more...<from PCWorld Magazine>, no less! Guess you can't say Windows users don't have a sense of humor!! smile.gif

THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system

This thread may need to move to the "We Need More Humor" one! rofl.gif It seems to be making more people laugh than any comedy show on TV!

they will be disguised as pawn shops or porn stores so you wont be quite as embarrassed going into one.
Instead of "24/7"...

stores will be open 29.5/7... the extra hours added will be used to cycle through all the extra boxes that keep popping up during a normal install.... as well as, the search for drivers to get anything to work.

From the comments:

Stores will be staffed by highly-trained representatives located in India and reachable via videoconferencing terminals located throughout the store.

From MacDailyNews Sun, Feb 15, 2009 - 8:39 PM EST:

"MacDailyNews Take: Rarely have we seen a concept so universally derided as Microsoft retail stores. Even Vista and Zune were better received. The fact that Microsoft is seriously considering retail stores is proof positive that the company's "management" has an unmeasurably over-inflated opinion of the company. They're completely delusional. It's as if they don't realize that they suck. And that'd actually be somewhat sad, if it weren't so effing funny!"
