Dick, I have a trustfax contract for travel, $29 bucks a year...it works perfectly and is HIPAA compliant. not all e-faxes are alike.
I also have a broadband connection that uses different channel for fax over IP. (FoIP)
You could try using your iphone with a Netshare application or a all-in-one for $20 bucks just for the modem.


I have no idea how Pogue managed to send a fax without a fax modem, or a soft modem. I'd be interested in seeing that article.
