Any use for RAM modules after upgrade?

Having just upgraded my Tibook to one gig of RAM, is there anything useful to do with the RAM modules I replaced?

I have just one other computer, the Wallstreet Powerbook G3. I suppose it's asking too much that I could put the old TiBook RAM into it.

From what I can gather, it is supposed to work.

Try looking HERE.  Compare the two different model powerbooks you have.  the only difference I see is the latency (CL), other than that, it looks to be the same dimensions (1.25" high) and same type of RAM (144 pin SO-DIMM).  The Ti memory may be PC133, but it will clock down to the WallStreets specs.

Thanks, your link led me to a variety of sources. Bottom line is that I think I can install the modules in my Wallstreet.

The only hangup seems to be:

"There are two SDRAM SO-DIMM slots. One is located on the bottom of the processor card and the other is located on the top portion of the same module. The bottom slot is not customer accessible and RAM replacement or upgrades using this slot must be dealer installed. The top slot is user installable."

Which is a real bummer, since that top slot currently has a 32 mb module & I would really like to install myself.

You can still install into that bottom slot yourself. Basically what apple is saying is if something goes wrong when installing to the bottom slot yourself, don't come crying to them. If you want to do it yourself, give it a shot, you will still have a TiBook anyhow

 Well, that's what I decided, so I went ahead & switched out the lower 32 module with a 256 from the TiBook (I had previously put a 256 in the upper slot).

Easy to do, working fine. The System Profiler shows that I have a 128 in that lower slot, but from my reading apparently that is due to Apple's low expectations about RAM at the time they were putting Wallstreets out.

I'm happy, the Wallstreet seems happy so far.
