We have been notified by Audone that TS was not reachable for a couple hours on the eve of July 4th.  After some investigation it appears that a new search engine was on the site and totally hogged the bandwidth so TS was not available to members.

Hopefully this was a one time event but if anyone ever encounters the following message (or similar) when trying to access TS, please notify one of the admins when you can with date and times. We are monitoring the situation and if this search engine causes problems we will put its IP in an access denial file.

Had a minor 'hic-up just a few minutes ago with posting a reply. Safari finally gave up and reported that the page could not be found. Yet the post actually had been sent and received. Simply leaving TS and returning seems to have cleared up this 'problem.' I got no real message fro TS/ASO and assumed it was due to Safari, even though I could access other sites without any problem. dntknw.gif

For some reason I'm posting in the same topic on the TECH side.  Couldn't get beyond the front page from 7:30 this morning till 1:20 this afternoon (CDT / 7-09-09).  Just wondering whether this is something to do with me or whether the website was down?
