Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system

Congrats! Sorry it wasn't me. One problem I have is that I've been, as one friend put it, "crazy busy" this week, almost beyond measure. Second problem is, as a result of first, I wasn't able to get to computer to ask more Qs so I could make a decision. Who said "S/he who hesitates is lost"?! As soon as I get a chance, I'll write more about my needs with the hope that all y'all can help ME get around my combined procrastination/desperation, alrighty? For now, off to the dentist for huge work. Prayers please for those who believe. Those who don't - kindly let the universe know I could use some relief. . ;-)

After I replaced the non-functioning combo drive and reposted it on Craigslist the email started pouring in... I even got a message from someone who wanted to buy it for their pastor who had recently moved to... Nigeria! Would I mind shipping it to him directly and receiving payment via a wire transfer? You betcha that I mind!

The buyer was a young couple with seven Macs of varying vintages. They wanted an iBook ASAP to replace one with more than a few dead keys that the wife uses in their health food biz. Their iBook was purchased on eBay a few years ago and it arrived in much rougher condition than advertised, so my relatively pristine model was an easy sell... The hubby was knowledgeable and it took about a minute to finalize the deal.

I also easily sold a Tiger retail DVD for $100 the same day. But I haven't received a single query regarding the Waterfield Designs SleeveCase for 12" iBooks...

I'd like to post an ad here in the classified section:

Looking for a good, long-term, relationship with a late model
Mac-Mini (Intel a must).  Should like music, literature, and the
arts (long walks on the beach would be good as well).  Please
email Gunug.  Pictures on request!
