I bought SpamSieve but I have never used it... My Web hosting service does such an excellent job filtering my email that I haven't received a single spam message in well over a year. (And I am Very Careful when it comes to my email addresses.)

Comcast doesn't tell me what they use except they'll "give" me some kind of anti-virus software that will only run on Windows. rolleyes.gif Mindspring, which Judy uses, does have SPAM settings. But, with SS, I'm not seeing anything except a number beside the SPAM folder telling me something has been added. I guess I'm paranoid, but I'm not sure I want my ever so caring ISP deciding what is SPAM or not. YMMV.

My Web host server-based spam and virus filtering has worked great since Day One. I can also modify my domain/account whitelists and blacklists but I haven't had the need to do so...

All I can say is that I have never missed anything that I expected to receive, and I haven't received anything that I didn't want to get.

YMMV.

I wouldn't know if I missed something I expected, until too late.
And I get lots of stuff that no one else would call SPAM, but I sure don't enjoy getting some of it! laughhard.gif

What I find is that SPAM has dropped to only one or two a week! clap.gif And that's from every thing Dot Mac lets through. Everything from Comcast just gets forwarded to Dot Mac to avoid as much contact with them as possible. I have only recently found that I don't even need to use their smtp server. clap.gif clap.gif ...now if I could just get the few cable shows I want from somewhere else...
