This Tuesday right after work I'm flying out to L.A. then on Wednesday I'll catch a flight to Honolulu. I don't think I'll have much time before then to stop by, so I thought I would say Aloha! before I left!

I plan on calling you, Al...but I forgot what days you are available! Ooops! Email me or PM me before Tuesday if you see me online and let me know.

BTW, I went camping this weekend and I found this guy crossing the road. It's an Eastern Kingsnake.

 I know the whole history of the brown snake...how it came to Hawaii via cargo (probably fruit) and how it is eating up the native bird population. If I do see one I'll be sure to kill it on site.

Ha ha, that's Guam guys, brown tree snake.  Once in a while they get through cargo, but have not established themselves here.  But in Guam..... listen for the birds chirping in the morning...Oh, the silence.

John, looking forward to your arrival, I noticed on your plans one of those days you are going to come out to the east side of the island where I live.  Sounds like a good time to meet up and shake da paws.

I'm on vacation until friday afternoon, so let me know.   biggrin.gif

So far clear sunny skies, light winds and hot hawaiian weather (near 90 degrees).  No rain forcasted for a while.
