HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOBUN!
« on: July 09, 2010, 03:33:04 AM »
TS's most senior member is celebrating his 92nd birthday today!

It's so hard to believe Bunny's hubby has that many years behind him.  In fact, both Bunny and Bob are amazing, neither looks (or acts) their age. Now if I can just keep him from cutting the lawn, chopping wood, repairing the barn door... rolleyes.gif

I'm so lucky to be part of this family. clap.gif  notworthy.gif

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOBUN  !!!

Happy Birthday, Bobun!

A short 'poem' in your honor:
    Ninety-two!
    How 'bout you!

Thank you, thank you very much...

Hope your day of celebration is much, much longer than my 'poem!' rofl.gif

THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system

Bobun . . . let's only hope all of us can (someday) "act your age", according to an authoritative, unimpeachable, TeeEss source.

There must be something in the ether today, since I decided, this time (rather than just prior to retiring), to see what TeeEss looks like in the dawn's early light.

And . . . there you are.

Warmest best wishes and congratulations.

Since I've been caught unaware of the significance of July 15, I'm coming up a tad short for a rhyming tribute, so with apologies . . .

I’d hoped to shape some syllables, to roll, ‘n leap, or slide
Into a pattern memorable, which could be dis-patched with pride.
But these little rhymes – though a tad lame – are they’re the best that I can do,
But, I wish the returns of This Fine Day will be many, and so happy, for you.

And, thank you for your Service, sir!

To; TS Bear; Please accept appreciation for your congratulation and those of you who also took the time to wish me well.
As Yogi Berra  would say,"When you come to a fork in the road -Take it" and Mickey Mantle is credited with " If I knew I was gonna live this long' I wooda taken better care of myself". If I can't remember something, I just FORGET IT. Somehow I
think the power above is saying, " You'll stay there until you get it right". At any rate-92 was not the age I expected to reach
hence I lived it with little concern for endurance. Actually I must admit to feeling years younger than this.  Where did they go?
I give much credit to Bunny and our three children. Hey Dick; I love the poem. You have a way with words. Love you-all. Bobun.
