My parents gave me a 512 mb RAM chip for Father's Day (I know, a few days early). Before I was running 10.2.6 on 192 mbs of ram. It was terrible,just a little sluggish. It's much nicer now!

Yup...it's like the old saying...you can NEVER have too much RAM! (well...you can, but your machine just won't recognize it!)
OS X is a RAM hog, relatively speaking. It's nuts to think it will run well on the "minimum" suggested by Apple - 128MB!

You betcha! Lot's 'O Ram is a good thang.
OS X runs good with 1 1/2 Gigs. You can do a lot of things.
