I just shut down on a 933 to see how long it takes to fire up again from a cold start in 10.2.6.

From the ((bong)) till the desktop completely loaded=42 seconds.
Of course they're a ton of factors:resolution,desktop itself,whatever is set to kick in the background etc etc blah blah ..
I guess around a minute [give or take 30 secs <gr>] is normal.
