I've had it installed for over a year and don't remember the last time I used it! blush-anim-cl.gif

But that is not to say, "It ate my hard drive!", right?

I'm thinking this would be an advantage with my iPad, if it works "responsibly".   notworthy.gif

Sorry, I had to sign-off as my chauffeuring duties took precedence...both grandkids are now home, so I will continue with my worthless remarks.

I actually signed up for LogMeIn back in Nov 2008! I think that was probably right after getting our iPhones. Thinking.gif At any rate, I have no app by that name, nor can I remember ever using it...maybe that's why it didn't eat my hard drive? dntknw.gif

I do have RemoteTap on the iMac and the iPhone. It allows viewing the screen just like Screen Sharing but with modified controls to start/quit apps, click buttons, etc. It requires WiFi and some setting up the server on your Mac. I have used it several times to demonstrate its capabilities and read some data back on the Mac. But it is somewhat finicky (that's a networking term, sorry) and won't make a connection unless he WiFi is pretty speedy. At that point, it is similar to a boat anchor while in dry dock. dntknw.gif

Perhaps someone has some ideas if you'll give us a wee hint about what you would like to do. wink.gif There are several apps that basically use Virtual Network Connection to let you connect to your Mac from other places and/or machines. The major differences among them is the interface and ease of use.

Apparently, I'm still registered there, but I don't need an app to make these kinds of connections if I have to pay for it, thank you very much. rofl.gif I dare say viewing the Mac screen on your Pad will be a lot easier than on the iPhone! inspect.gif

Dick I have Log Me In on my computers and like it a lot.  My son and I get together frequently (he is usually helping me with some homework), and it works just Great!  thumbup.gif clap.gif

Thanks, Roy.

With iOS 4 (come November) it's supposed to be easy to finally file items worked on  in the iPad.

I'm guessing LogMeIn might still be useful.
