Rebuilding the desktop from CC whith preserve get info comments always freeze near the begInning of preserving..
Ok when unchecking...is it sign of something wrong? once more

I seem to remember that the Get Info text is saved in a separate file. If it gets corrupted, it could cause what you are experiencing. Do you have a lot of info in those comments?

Don't really matters about info comments...just wondering if these corrupted files could make something wrong to the system

It might even be that CC is where the problem is.
I doubt that there has been much work on it in the last few years...
