As a former owner of a PT Cruiser, I can safely say the iPad probably did more damage to the car than the other way around.

The iPad or the car?! eek2.gif

Owning neither an iPad nor a PT Cruiser, I can't verify the story...but I did leave several envelopes filled with bill payments on the back bumper of my car one day. I drove off to work completely forgetting about the envelopes. A few days later, a neighbor returned several after finding them in the street. The checks still cleared, does that count as "working?" All I know is my brain didn't! wacko.gif laughhard.gif

Well, as an owner of both an iPad and a PT Cruiser, I'm not about to verify the results of this little experiment... But I can tell you I am a very satisfied owner of both.

Hard to believe the battery terminals didn't short out if water got inside...perhaps they fill all voids with packing grease to help avoid such things! eek2.gif dntknw.gif Maybe all that grease is what kept the PT from crushing the iPad. Thinking.gif laughhard.gif

As some here may remember.  My niece had the same thing happen to her iPod touch.  After getting run over by a car all was fine except the glass.  It helped that the ipod was face down when run over.  I would be curious to know which way that iPad was lying when it was run over.  Anyway, I replaced the glass on the iPod touch and it has been working fine since.
