Congrats Gary!

Guaranty you'll never get a shot like one of my first pics. Remember my shot of the overhead lightbulb.?.
Doubt if you'll fine a bulb set up like that there. biggrin.gif
Or how about the close up of those ants. smile.gif
If you're like I was Gary, you will be snapping shots of anything-under-the-sun just to get the feel of all the functions. biggrin.gif

After all .... what film! smile.gif

Digital Cameras Question
« Reply #18 on: June 22, 2003, 06:49:58 PM »
That's one of the many delights of digital, the freedom to shoot without incurring immediate cost, not to mention the wait to see results.

Great example:  I had some cabinetry installed in my office. Weeks later one of the bits of hardware for a drawer broke. I was having a hard time over the phone getting the installer to understand exactly what was wrong.

So I just took a quick snap of it & emailed it to him. At least he understood what part I meant, even if he STILL hasn't replaced it.
