Third drive

Have a look at the formatting of that drive from the dead DA in System Profiler. It's possible that there is something different about it - it's not being recognized initially for some reason or other.

Also try running Repair Disk on it from Disk Utility - there may be some directory problems.

Have you tried starting up with that drive? (Hold down the option key at startup - see if it appears as an option)

System profiler:

this drive has 3.3 version the others (on the acard) 8.14

DW  found  some directory problems on it   and repared them.

But always the same warning at boot... unreadable ...do you want to initialize

 (the boot is from a drive connected to the ACARD)

Can't try  to boot from that drive cause  there's no system on it, maybe  should i install one,?

Trying today to work whith my two internals now connected to the ACARD...

Finder access, loading softwares seems a bit faster but now  opening file from an app, or a sequencer whith a lot of plug ins ....

much, much longer than before,(even if the files are on the same disk)

Example opening a 1 Mo picture  from photoshop...about 40 seconds !!!

What could be wrong

Just initialize the drive ...everything back to normal...
