As Verizon says, "It's the network." And that can make a big difference in what can be done with the "same" phone.
Obviously, before "smart" phones, these differences were minor and seldom even known. Now that 'talking' seems to be a secondary use of these devices, "the network" becomes much more important. We'll have to wait and see how the
new network improves things..."real soon now."
