It's been a good day, apart from the weather (March gales in September?

Yes, I was dragged by the ear, screaming and kicking in protest, into the Apple Store in Solihull and told I was not coming out until I'd decided what I want. It took a long time and a very patient "Specialist" who could not have been more helpful. We thought Tuesday would be a quiet day, but turned out schools there don't go back until Wednesday. Ho hum!
Anyway, I thought a pair of reasonable external speakers for the Mac, nothing too grand but got "I'm not buying you speakers...."
In the end we came out with a bag that contained a 16GB iPad AND an Apple TV..... He didn't sell them to us. We sold them to ourselves.
Today, however, while trying to connect the iPad to the Netgear I managed to "lose" the internet. Finally found it down the back of the settee/couch
Actually (and whisper this!) I'd accidentally made the Netgear wifi invisible and it took a couple of hours and an ethernet cable to help me realise what I'd done
It's really a terrible feeling when your instinct goes "Ask TS" and your brain responds "Without the Internet?"
So thanks for your good wishes and I look forward to many more years irritating you with terrible jokes (like the one you'll find shortly in the Joke thread) and, hopefully, occasionally being a little bit of use
