Is there a word missing from this sentence:
QUOTE
iTunes could play 1080p content in the past, however, such as movies shot using an iPhone 4S.
Or is MW saying the only 1080p vids were from the 4S? wacko.gif I'm assuming that 1080p vids were already available from Apple/iTunes and that they would already play on a Mac. So, what's the news here, other than I'm making too many assumptions about something I know nothing about...again! dntknw.gif blush-anim-cl.gif

Maybe MW meant:
QUOTE
iTunes 10.6 adds the ability to play 1080p HD movies and TV shows from the iTunes Store.

Well, that seems to be negatively confirming (bet you didn't even know that was possible! wacko.gif ) what I said that I didn't know. Up till now, iTunes could not play 1080p vids! Would have never known that and not sure I care about it, yet. dntknw.gif OTOH, I would never have tried playing a video in iTunes. Just shows how little I use iTunes and/or watch movies, I guess. Oh well...

Sounds like the app needs a new/better name. I mean the new Windows is dropping the Start button that one used to Shutdown the computer after only 20(?) years... doh.gif wallbash.gif

Of course it's also supposed to have these improvements:

QUOTE
Improved song matching
Improved album artwork handling, downloading, and display
Addresses an issue where songs may skip when playing from iCloud

Some of that would help me; I'm not likely to download HD videos any time soon.
