Powwerbook G4 Titanium

[ADSR]

After falling from my desk , everything it's working  on the Titanium but ...no sound (even after a pram reest)

Is there a specific thing to look for, inside? something to do... (before finding another one) ?

See if you have any sound via some headphones. The speaker could be the only thing damaged...if you're lucky!

Though it does sound like a hardware situation, go through all the software checks first, like playing with the sound prefs, try playing a CD, plugging and unplugging that headset ADB suggests more than once, do a full reset:

If nothing helps, it most likely is related to the logic board which could be replaced but not sure it is worth it. With any luck you could open it up and find something just loose:

None of those - it's not THAT old!! Those are antiques...

It will be one of the G4 Powerbook series - there are two variations, and not knowing which Ti you have, don't know which one to direct you to. (3rd or 4th set of directions in Apple's list on the KB page Kris sent you to). If you're not sure which  set of directions apply, look at http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/powe...werbook-g4.html and figure out which group your model falls into.

After power manger reset always no sound....it maybe a motherboard failure.

Try  to buy a new one,  but found  some with qwerty keyboards is it possible to  change the keyboard whith my azerty one?

You don't need to change the physical keyboard.  All you need to is activate the French input in the system prefs (in the International prefs) and it will automatically type like an AZERTY keyboard.  

You can get stickers for the keys it you need them:

or you could pry off the keys and change them, here's how...

or use a marker and write the correct keys or just don't look at the keys while typing, it will still work ...

Sometimes i type a few words  whithout looking at the keys ...and as you say, ....it works !,   can't  do that whith a Qwerty  keyboard

Removing the keyboard from the non working one ( seems easy) and exchanging it whith the future  one could be a solution?  should  work ...?

Just to let you know that for  the sound problem, instead of buying another  Titanium , found a cheaper and nice  solution...
