Software for invitations

I have a G4 using system 10.2.  What software do people like to print invitations to a party?  I would to include a photograph on the invitation.  I have tried Photodeluxe 2 without being able to get just the picture on the outside and text on the inside of a blank card.  Any suggestions?  Thank you.  ilw-00

I do cards and such with Photoshop but if you don't have it you can try Printmaster Gold software. I'm not sure if they have an OS X version, but if there is, it's a decent cheap card program.

I have not used Photodeluxe but if you create 2 documents (1 for front of card ie:photo and the 2nd document for the inside text. Print the first document, turn the paper over and print the 2nd document with the type.
Try a low quality black and white test print to make sure everything lines up correctly when you fold the card.

I have used Print Explosion Deluxe for a couple of years.  It is very easy to use.  You can start with one of a zillion templates or start from scratch.  I find it useful to begin with a template and then customize it to suit my whims.  You can use the included clip art (TONS of it) or import your own images.

Yeah, the box screams Consumer Software but it doesn't cost a bundle like it's "pro" brethren.  I use Print Explosion for all kinds of biz projects and it doesn't require hours of deciphering a manual or purchasing books by third-party publishers in order to figure out how to do something.  I only wish that AppleWorks was as simple to use and as useful as Print Explosion...

You can buy direct here http://www.novadevelopment.com/Products/pr...productCode=pdm for around $60; I recall paying around $40 when I got it.  I would check for a better price and maybe contact Nova Development to see if there is a special deal available.  And even at $60 I think it is a terrific deal.

After your purchase Nova will send you announcements about software deals on their own and other programs and I have snagged other titles at excellent prices.  And if I remember correctly, there is at least a 30-day no questions asked refund period, so how can you lose?
