Choosing a printer in OS X
« on: July 16, 2003, 06:41:02 PM »
I am a new user of OS X 10.1.5, I have had my printer chosen, but not knowing what I was doing, I deleted it. When I go to chose a printer in print center, I am unable to do so. Everything is greyed out and there is no way that I can chose a printer. wallbash.gif

When you have Printer List on your monitor, and click on Add, what appears?

That is the problem, the monitor does not show a Printer List. I added my printer once before.  sad.gif Dumb me; I have got to learn  the difference between "delete" and "cancel"

Nothing on the Printer List? OR No Printer List?

I am not sure what I did that corrected the problem.  I just have one installation disk. It says on the disk
                   "         iMac       ".
                    Mac OS X Install
I found the place on the disk that was to install additional printer drivers so I did, and, when I open Print Center, there was my printer ready to  go.  clap.gif
