Worked flawlessly for me in Chrome (didn't try FF), but doesn't work in Safari. Too bad as it would be a great tool.

Just tried it in Safari, Kimmer - worked fine. Neat trick. smile.gif

Hmmm ... I was able to open dropbox in a finder window and drag to that, but not in the browser. I must be missing something.

Didn't work for me, either. Nor for one of the commenters. I can see a use in a mobile browser, but URLMPro handles this on the Desktop without even having a browser open! Of course, there are several ways to "share" a site/url/etc. on most mobile devices.

I only tried dropping a url into a DropBox tab, in Safari. It might work with another window open. dntknw.gif All it did in the tab-drag attempt was to change the DropBox tab to another tad of the site I was dragging. At least it also allowed the back button to permit getting back to the DropBox page... oh well...

Oh, well...I didn't try it in the browser, since I tend to use Dropbox from the Finder. wink.gif

And no - nothing happens in the Files page and if you drag a link to the Links page, it just opens the linked page. So much for that (in Safari, at least).
