Apple TV has never played Amazon Prime on a TV (at least by my quick research many months ago - and I could be wrong), but who made that decision? Was it a mutual one between Apple and Amazon? It is the reason I didn't buy the Apple TV player. The Chromestick didn't either, so I was debating between a Roku or the Firestick, but now my TV has to be replaced and I'll get a smart TV with all of that installed, so I don't need any of them any longer.
Still, I agree that it's an odd decision on Amazon's part; but like Jim said: Nobody ever said Capitalism is fair, however.
As far the "ebook debacle" ... I think Amazon was in the right and I wish they'd held out longer. The "Big 5", and "Authors United" – they all lost me as a customer by their antics.
I know Amazon isn't perfect, no retailer is, but it's still a great place to shop and find bargains; and I'll spend my money there vs Walmart any day.
